A Mountain of a Challenge.
Always ready for a challenge, Label Apeel is sending a team of staff to hike up Mount Snowdon in aid of Action Medical Research for Children. The 17-strong crew are aiming to raise £2,500 and will face the mighty mountain on June 10th.
Action Medical Research is dedicated to improving the health and lives of babies and children who are battling diseases or living with disabilities.
Medical research can make a huge difference to children suffering from diseases such as brain cancer, or that are living with life-limiting conditions including fatal muscle-wasting Duchenne muscular dystrophy and cerebral palsy.
Without support, Action Medical Research often has to turn away those that need their help, simply due to a lack of funds. So, with every step we take on Snowdon, the Label Apeel team will be thinking about the importance of that £2,500 goal. It really will help to make a difference in the lives of children here in the UK.
Stuart Kellock explains why the team is passionate about this charity:
“Most of us are parents at Label Apeel, so a children’s charity is very close to our hearts. Sometimes though, we can take the health of our family for granted. Action Medical Research does incredible work with limited funds, so the money we raise really will make a tangible difference.”
We’d be hugely grateful if you could help us smash our target of £2,500. You can easily donate online at: https://www.action.org.uk/sponsor/labelapeel
