The challenge: to keep continuity of the brand but express the individualities of a range of similar looking beers for this Hampshire brewery.

The result: a collection of eye-catching labels that uses silver material as a base, layered with various colours on top, to create a range of high impact metallic shades that represent each of the 7 beers unique personalities.

Our creative friends understood the need to touch all senses in this increasingly competitive market and opted to use a matt varnish on the black areas of the label, creating a visual movement and a pleasant tactile experience for drinkers and voyeurs. Chin chin!

The challenge: Loddon Brewery wanted a clean and yet striking label and that’s exactly what they got.

Working alongside the brand’s designer David Rogers from We Are Pure, we were delighted to play a major part in the recent re-brand of this tasty beer.

The result: printed on clear polypropylene the brand is tied together beautifully with a judicious use of foil to emphasise the shape and lift the design off the bottle. A combination of matt and gloss varnishes helps to give the whole design movement with the added benefit of making it very tactile and pleasant to handle.

We’ve enjoyed a relationship with the Loddon Brewery for over 3 years and it’s always a pleasure to work on their products. Long may it continue.

The challenge: like any business would we relished the opportunity to work on Harrods Scottish Collection of preserves and jams. As you would have expected from this British institution it demanded a high standard of service and as usual, us being us, we exceeded it.

The result: this classically designed label reflects the core quintessential values of the brand while still giving the product a stand out shelf presence. The white has all the opacity and brightness of a screen printed white but is in fact produced using standard digital inks.

The continuity of quality and colour across the range is an imperative part of this collection and highlights Label Apeel’s commitment to quality.

The result: We created an understated yet eye-catching label using a matt finish with a matt varnish to match the existing packaging. The brand’s messaging, like the coffee is strong and powerful and does exactly what it should, attracts attention and wakes you up.

The challenge: to develop a traditional label that fits seamlessly with the products modern clear round bottle.

The result: a label that certainly gets our seal of approval. The whole project has been designed to reflect quality from the choice of material, Martelle Blanc from Avery Dennison through the design process where a drop shadow around the embossed border is used to add emphasis.

The wax seal is clearly the stand out feature of this design; which was produced using a raised screen varnish a technique more commonly associated with Braille text. This highlights Label Apeel’s ability to transfer techniques and ideas from one area to others, extending the opportunities open to designers to create truly unique designs. We’re rather proud of this one.

The result: the brand was designed by Cooper, Cooper Cooper Design and sticks in the consumer’s mind because of it powerful colours and strong imagery.

The matt varnish on the background contrasts with the raised gloss varnish on the lizard. This combined with the imaginative embossing pattern leave the consumer with little choice other than to taste the delights inside.

The challenge: brand enhancement for an award-winning Australian winery.

The result:the cleanliness of the design enhances what was already a strong brand. This new incarnation has been printed on the beautiful Martel Blanc material that has a whiteness that will definitely attract attention.

What this label lacks in ink on the paper, it more than makes up for in other enhancements. The tight registration of the hot foiled drop shadow and the embossing of the brand name are indicative of the care and attention to detail that all our customers receive.

The clean and simple lines of this label should not mask the complexity of the print or the skill and proficiency required to deliver this creative design.

The challenge: to create a brand for a super-premium London Dry Gin, that will be enjoyed in only the swankiest surroundings of the Capital’s finest hotels.

The result: an amazing label that highlights the benefits of combining high-end digital printing with the most modern foiling enhancements.

Printed on material from the Fedrigoni Range this label is enhanced with individual bottle and batch numbers printed in colour. The embossing of the foiled Trade Mark is done using the very latest fluted dies. These have allowed the designer to pick out the detail in the hair of the charging bore.

A strong foiled and embossed border gives the design powerful impact and strong shelf presence amongst its competitors.

Everyone loves a shiny new household gadget, so when we got to work on a competition brief for Morphy Richards the Label Apeel team were giddy.

It was a chance for us to try something different on two levels; we had to create a peel and read multi-layered label with a Unique code on the underside. We created a clever doubled layered sticker, using an excellent combination of digital and flexographic technology to come up with a high impact product.

As usual, we delivered this technically difficult product in a short-lead time, on budget and with a big grin. Winner!
