Label & Print 2017: A Gallery of Winners
Last month we packed up the team and headed down to the Birmingham NEC for 2017’s Label & Print Exhibition.
This year, our stand was designed with an art gallery theme, showcasing just a small selection of the award-winning labels we’ve printed in recent years. Each label highlighted different element of the technical ability and creative talents of the Label Apeel team and gave us the opportunity to discuss the varied world of label design with a staggering amount of customers at the show. Truly, the response to the stand was overwhelming and even attracted the eye of fellow printers and designers.
The press were also seen buzzing around the Label Apeel Gallery interviewing MD Stuart Kellock about decorative labels and the industry as a whole. Stuart also gave a well-received talk at ‘The Drinks Report’ stand, revealing the powerful effect that labels can have when they tap into shoppers’ emotions.
If you missed out on coming to the exhibition, then take a look at our images below. We can’t say thank you enough to all those that commented on our stand this year – and we were over the moon to see that visitors liked it just as much as we did.
A huge thank you also goes to the team at Something Visual who developed and built the stand for us. Having worked with Director Nick West before on our exhibition stands, we knew that he would be a great asset in developing our innovative gallery. From enhancing our initial concept ideas to ensuring a smooth and organised build-up, Nick provided a phenomenal service from start to finish.
