Meet: Dave George, Senior Artworker

Why did you want to work for us?

I wanted to be part of a company that is continuing to evolve, push itself and invest time in its employees to be the best that they can be.

Label Apeel has proven to have a team ethos, working together to achieve the same end goal, award winning labels and happy customers.

What is your favourite label?

Out of the labels that we’ve printed the one that really stood out was the 1897 Quinine Gin. It looks so elegant and really sells the product.

I‘m also a big fan of when Coca Cola did their “Share a Coke with…” promotion. This is an example of simplicity sells. Simple, yet so effective, sending their sales sky rocketing. The famous slogan “KISS” (Keep it simple stupid) comes to mind!

How do you plan to make a difference to the Label Apeel service?

I plan to, and do, bring a positive attitude and outlook across all the teams within the business. I endeavour to use my previous expertise to help customers get a final product, which they can be proud of.
