To create an unassuming label that looks the same no matter how many times it's reproduced.
On the face of it's a pretty straightforward label using just 2 colours with a foil on to a quality stock. The intricacy of this label is very much in the detail.
The sticking point was to be able to produce the labels on digital and to be able to cross match from one process to the other. The colours asked for were not what you would call out the bottle being made up of a range of 12 colours in the dirty pastel range. The requirements were a tolerance of less than 2.5 delta E (for those who know about these things). We achieved across the board a tolerance of less than 2 delta E. The job has repeated many times since we first did it and we still manage to attain the same exacting standards. Another challenge met.
