Label of the Month July 2024 Porthcawl Distillery

A label that is geographically relevant carries a lot of responsibility. It is reflecting the distillery’s pride in its roots and its location. It needs to be synonymous of that town/city/county and the people thereof. Fortune favours the brave and distillery owners Chris and Glenn have created a brand that the whole of Porthcawl can be duly proud of.

What started off as a hair brained scheme between two friends over a few drinks. Is now becoming a major South Wales success story, and it is easy to see why. Chris and Glenn ooze energy, enthusiasm and passion for their project. They have gone from kitchen sink distillers to a evolving new brand in under four years. Label Apeel has been very privileged to have been apart of that journey.

They have been printed on to a Tintoretto Gesso material and decorated with an intricate foil and impressive emboss. These labels have been produced as a single set on a roll, which is a great way for customers who are hand applying to find economies in tooling and plate making.
